The Black Hills even offers some of the most beautiful motorcycle rids in the country. Each year the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally draws thousands of bikers from around the country, itching to explore our beautiful Black Hills and the Badlands.

Local favorites include the Alpine Inn in Hill City, Tally’s Silver Spoon in Rapid City, Lintz Bro’s Pizza in Hermosa, and Black Hills Burger and Bun Co. in Custer. There are countless options available to get a good meal, and be treated like you are one of the family.
In addition to great restaurants, the Black Hills also boasts award winning breweries and wineries. Rapid City’s Haycamp Brewing Company, Firehouse Brewing Company and Wine Cellar, or the recently opened Lost Cabin Beer Company, Spearfish’s Crow Peak Brewery or Hill City’s Prairie Berry Winery are all nearby to offer a locally crafted adult beverage, many of which are made using local ingredients.
If you are after family friendly attractions, the Black Hills has countless places that are waiting to provide memorable adventures for both the young and old. Unique animal exhibits, like Bear Country USA, Old McDonalds Farm, and Reptile Gardens are sure to excite the imagination. Other family friendly activities include: the 1880 Train, mini golfing at Holy Terror Mini Golf in Keystone, visiting the historic D.C. Booth Fish Hatchery in Spearfish, exploring the Mammoth site in Hot Springs, and playing in the fountains or watching a movie under the stars at Main St. Square in Rapid City. From the heart of the Black Hills, the Black Hills Playhouse in Custer State Park offers quality entertainment for a fraction of the cost. Live music is offered at many locations, including the Firehouse Brewing Company, the Summer Nights Concert Series at Main St. Square, and many of the outdoor restaurants in the downtown areas. In Rapid City, The Journey Museum offers an interesting look into our area’s history, and the Dahl Arts Center is available to showcase local and national talent.
