After earning her Bachelor’s degree of science in Biology from Portland State University, and working for more than a decade in the wine industry in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, she returned in 2017 to her hometown of Rapid City, SD. Working in the wine world, she enjoyed using her expertise to demystify the wine experience for her clients and friends. Listening to others wants and needs and delivering a stress-free and enjoyable experience tailored to each individual was extremely rewarding for her. She has transferred many of these experiences and skills to her career as a Realtor.
Shortly after moving back to South Dakota, Elissa began her career with The Kahler Team, where she spent three years as an Executive Sales Assistant. In this position she gained invaluable first-hand knowledge and discovered her passion in helping others navigate the challenges of buying and selling Real Estate. Working with the highest producing Real Estate team in South Dakota, she has assisted in hundreds of transactions. Using her experience, knowledge and support from her team she feels incredibly fulfilled with all of the people she has been able to help. For Elissa, there is no better reward than lifting the stress off the shoulders of others, and developing lasting and meaningful relationships.
Growing up in the Black Hills, she have developed many connections and relationships with the people and the places she calls home. In her free time, she loves exploring the Black Hills with her family, friends, daughter Fiona, and her Great Dane, Kevin Costner.
